The Heriot-Watt University Club (Hong Kong) is an alumni / student club; a branch officially endorsed by The Watt Club of Heriot-Watt University in United Kingdom.
Back in November 2003, the Watt-Club Reception was organized in the China Club, some enthusiastic alumni met and knew each others.

A. The 4th Executive Committee Election of the HWUC (HK) will take place on 26 June 2010 during the Annual General Meeting of 2010.
B. The election procedures are as follows:
1) Announcement of the Annual General Meeting 2010 and election of 4th Executive Committee, 13 April 2010.
2) Nomination of candidates for the following position of Executive Committee from 11 May 2010 to 26 May 2010.
(i) Chairman;
(ii) Secretary;
(iii) Treasurer;
(iv) Event Organising Director;
(v) External Affairs Liaison Director;
(vi) General Affairs Liaison Director;
(vii) Students Assistance Director;
(viii) IT Support Director.
* A candidate must be a current member of the HWUC (HK) and a graduate / student of any faculty of Heriot-Watt University.
3) Nomination Method:
(i) A Candidate must be nominated by a current member;
(ii) Nomination can be submitted via fax or e-mail with a completed nomination form;
(iii) Self-nomination is acceptable;
(iv) A list of nominated candidates will be announced via e-mail to members on 1 June 2010.
4) Election by proxy
Taking in consideration of some members will have difficulties to attend the AGM and election, the Club offers the choice of election by proxy. Election by proxy will be from 1 June 2010 to 17 June 2010.
4.1) Election by proxy method
(i) Member should send his/her votes via fax at 23596136 or e-mail to membership@hwuclubhk.org on or before 17 June 2010.
(ii) Votes should be made according to the announced list of candidates.
5) Annual General Meeting and Election
Election process and announcement of the newly elected executive committee members will be on 26 June 2010 during the Annual General Meeting.
C. Eligibility
To be eligible to nominate, to self nominate and to vote, please register on or before 30 April 2010 as a member.
